WORKPLACE AND TEAMS WORKSHOPS

Team Building 101

Whatever is most important to them, most meaningful, fulfilling and inspiring is not only what their life is about but is also their identity. Knowing our authentic values, and those of our team can be a powerful tool for efficiency, productivity, achievement and growth.

Our highest value is where we tend to be the most inspired, most spontaneously active,

and where we are likely to be the most fulfilled and find the most meaning. It’s also where

we tend to be the most objective, balanced, resilient, adaptable, disciplined, reliable and

focused and expanded in awareness and potential. It’s also where we tend to expand our

space and time horizons, open the doors for expanded opportunities, and play in a bigger

field of possibility.

When we set a goal that is aligned with our true highest value, we are most likely to be spontaneously inspired to act on that value and have the highest probability of achieving it. We are also more likely to embrace whatever challenges you may face in the pursuit of the value.

Are you starting to see why knowing our authentic values, and those of our team can be a powerful tool for efficiency, productivity, achievement and growth?

The first part of the Values and Communication Workshop will be dedicated to the Demartini Values Determination Process to identify the unique hierarchy of values for each team member. This powerful exploration will result in deeper understanding of the team which will assist with setting goals which are aligned to have the highest probability of achievement.

Values, communication and team building.

Everyone has a natural inclination to want to be authentic and to be respected and appreciated for who they are. As we have recognised, your identity revolves around and is an expression of your highest value - and so too for others. Your team, as such, is a melting pot of unique values with everyone wanting respect and appreciated for their authentic self.

Every decision we make will be based upon what we perceive will give us the greatest advantage over disadvantage and greatest reward over risk to our highest values. This is also the case also for each individual in your team. Nobody is committed to your highest values, or those of the business (its mission); they are committed to the fulfilment of their own highest values.

If you compare yourself to others and minimize yourself to them, sacrificing what is

important to you, you may inject their values into your life and try and live by them. This is likely to cloud the clarity of your own highest values and you may begin feeling uncertain and give your natural intrinsic power away, resulting in conflict within yourself.

Both injecting values from others, or projecting values on to others are impossible to sustain – trying to live in other people’s values or trying to get them to live in yours long-term is

futile with breakdown in communication and understanding.

Most of the chaos in relationships stems from an assumption that other individuals are supposed to see the world through your eyes and are likely to result in miscommunication

or alternating dialogues more than a dialogue and true communication. It is wise for you to learn to master the art of true communication so you can meet in the middle as equals where neither side is trying to project their values onto the other.

Nobody is committed to your highest values, or those of the business (its mission); they are committed to the fulfilment of their own highest values. The power then comes from linking these values; your highest values to their highest values, and vice versa, the employees highest values to the company's highest values and vice versa.

As such, the second part of the Values and Communication Workshop will be spent linking

values across the team. This powerful exploration will result in deeper appreciation and respect for everyone in the team, and a deeper sense of the value of your own contribution to not only the company missions but to your individual team members.

This workshop identifies and links values between individuals within the team to the business goals to increase engagement, and between the team members themselves to open up and increase communication between and appreciation for individuals in all relationships whether personal or professional.

Most people think their values are correct and become proud of them. If you compare yourself to other people and feel superior to them, you will try to project your own values onto them. You’re likely to have a monologue as you talk down to them and try to get them to change. They, in turn, are likely to feel resistant and become defiant, resulting in conflict.

Master how to build individual and professional relationships by understanding the basic drivers of human behaviour and how that relates to mastering the art of true communication.

Recognise how everyone wants to be respected and appreciated for who they are - who they are revolves around their highest value.
