WELCOME TO EQUILIBRATE
Maximizing human awareness and potential
Clear what’s taking up time and attention, so you can move forward
If an issue is looping in your mind (a person, breakup, decision, navigating uncertainty, fear, or old story), we can dissolve the emotional charge so you can make clean decisions again.
The same structured process can be applied to leadership decisions, competing priorities, team dynamics or strategic direction.
Sessions examine the perceptions shaping how you prioritise, respond, communicate and act so that decision-making, timing and follow-through are aligned with what matters most.
This is where you come to think more clearly under any condition.

This work meets you differently depending on what you’re navigating right now.
Whether you're:
• processing emotional charge or recurring patterns from the past
• clarifying direction during a life or professional transition
• refining your leadership, purpose, or next level of contribution
• or seeking greater perceptual accuracy in high-stakes decision-making
there are different ways we can work together depending on the depth and continuity required.
How this Works
Sessions use a structured sequence of questions to examine how current perceptions may be influencing emotional responses, communication and decision-making.
In a Forward Movement Session, this process is applied to equilibrate the emotional charge attached to a specific issue so that you can move forward with greater objectivity.
In a Bottleneck Breaker, questioning is used to identify the primary perceptual interference currently obstructing progress and clarify your highest-priority next step.
No balancing process is conducted in this session.
Learn more about The Demartini Method
The following sections outline the structured process used in sessions and how it supports perceptual clarity, decision-making and aligned action.
WHAT IS THE DEMARTINI METHOD?
The Demartini Method® developed by Dr John Demartini is a structured process of applied questioning used to bring unconscious information into awareness. The Method helps neutralise emotional charges, balance perceptions, and reveal the hidden order in experiences that previously felt disruptive. Emotional reactions arise when perception becomes imbalanced and you become conscious of more perceived positives than negatives, or more perceived negatives than positives, associated with a person, memory, decision, or event. When perception is incomplete in this way, mind generates emotional charge in an attempt to bring attention to the missing information. This process uses a specific sequence of questions to: • identify the imbalanced perception • reveal the unconscious information that has been omitted • restore a more balanced and objective awareness As awareness becomes balanced, the emotional charge associated with that perception reduces. This allows executive function to become more available for: • decision-making • prioritisation • planning • action aligned with highest values The aim is not to remove experience, but to integrate it so attention is no longer involuntarily captured by unresolved perception. Applying this method to emotional distortions assists in overcoming self-imposed limitations and allows access to your true potential, with openhearted appreciation for yourself, others, and your journey. It assists in clearing the way for a more purposeful and inspired life of appreciation, enthusiasm, meaning and fulfilment.
HOW STRUCTURED QUESTIONING WORKS
Sessions utilise a structured sequence of questions designed to examine how perceptions of events, individuals or decisions are currently organised. When an experience is perceived as predominantly supportive or predominantly challenging, attention may fixate on selectively perceived advantages or disadvantages. This asymmetry can influence: • emotional valence • behavioural response • communication style • timing of decisions • allocation of effort Structured questioning is used to: • identify where perception may be selectively weighted • examine both sides of the perceived experience • recognise additional factors present simultaneously • balance the interpretation within a broader context This is not reframing or positive thinking. It is a systematic examination of perception to identify information that may be currently outside of conscious awareness. As additional information becomes conscious, previously distorted or asymmetrical perceptions can be reintegrated. This allows attention to become less governed by survival-based impulses and more available for prioritisation according to highest values. This supports activation of the executive centre of the brain and increasing availability for objective, value-aligned decision-making.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION
In a session, we apply this questioning process to one specific emotionally charged perception that is currently interfering with forward movement. This may relate to: •a relationship or breakup •a decision that cannot be made •resentment or grief •fear of loss or failure •guilt or self-judgement •a recurring pattern or hesitation •a decision that cannot be made •a past event that still produces reaction It may also relate to: • a strategic or executive-level decision • leadership or team management challenges • business or organisational priorities • planning or vision implementation • navigating uncertainty or competing priorities • aligning action with highest values • clarifying direction for expansion or growth Through structured inquiry, the perception is examined from multiple perspectives until any originally imbalanced evaluation becomes more fully conscious. As both sides of the perception become equally seen, the emotional charge associated with it neutralises. When perception becomes balanced: • attention is no longer involuntarily captured • survival-based prioritisation reduces • executive function becomes more available • long-term planning capacity increases • highest-priority next steps become more visible This supports more effective decision-making, leadership, and value-aligned action, whether the focus is resolving interference or clarifying direction for forward movement. The process can be used both to dissolve emotional interference and to clarify forward-looking decisions involving direction, leadership or meaningful expansion.
WORKING THROUGH THIS TOGETHER
In session, I guide you through a structured line of questioning to examine how meaning has been assigned to a specific event, relationship, decision or challenge. We look at where attention may have become fixed on selected advantages or disadvantages, and how that interpretation may be influencing your emotional responses, priorities or actions. As we identify additional information that has been filtered out of awareness, previously distorted or one-sided perceptions can be reintegrated. This allows you to respond with greater clarity, objectivity and alignment with what matters most to you.
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
Unresolved perceptions continue to occupy working memory and attentional resources. This can contribute to: • hesitation • rumination • procrastination • distraction • impulsivity • value-misaligned decision-making When attention is repeatedly captured by incomplete perception, it reduces capacity for: • strategic thinking • long-term planning • value-driven action By restoring perceptual balance, attention becomes available for action aligned with what is most meaningful and highest in priority.
HOW PERCEPTION INFLUENCES DECISION-MAKING
Behaviour follows perception. When an individual or event is perceived as primarily supportive, impulse towards may result. When an individual or event is perceived as primarily challenging, instinct to avoid may result. In both cases, perception becomes asymmetrical and the autonomic nervous system prioritises survival responses over executive planning. This can influence: • decision timing • risk tolerance • effort allocation • communication • strategic planning • follow-through on priorities When perception becomes balanced, executive function becomes more available for: • objective decision-making • long-term planning • value-aligned action • leadership responsibilities • implementation of vision Balanced perception supports the capacity to respond proportionately to the actual demands of a situation, rather than reacting to selectively perceived advantages or disadvantages.
WHERE THIS APPLIES IN REAL LIFE
Similar interpretive patterns often appear across multiple life domains including: • professional interactions and leadership responsibilities • financial decisions and resource management • personal relationships and family dynamics • physical health and wellbeing priorities • social engagement and communication • long-term planning and career direction • creative or strategic initiatives and contribution A session can examine a specific situation in which perception has become asymmetrical. Ongoing work allows the same structured questioning process to be applied as new decisions, roles or circumstances arise. Repeated application may support: • proportionate behavioural response • clearer prioritisation • improved decision timing • strategic consistency • implementation of long-term objectives Longer-term work is typically considered following an initial session, once the relevance of the process to current objectives has been established.
Through precise facilitation, this work supports the dissolution of emotionally charged perceptions and restores access to executive function, allowing you to respond with greater presence, certainty, and aligned action in relationships, leadership decisions, and life direction.
When Perception Becomes Integrated
When a perception becomes balanced, the physiological stress response associated with it can settle.
As previously unconscious information becomes conscious, the nervous system is no longer reacting to a partial or asymmetrical interpretation of events.
Many individuals report:
-
increased presence and emotional stability
-
greater appreciation for their life as it is
-
renewed enthusiasm for meaningful goals
-
clarity of vision and direction
-
improved signal-to-noise in decision-making
-
access to gratitude, love and inspiration
-
a greater sense of certainty in their actions
This shift is not produced through motivation or positive thinking, but through the reintegration of previously polarised perceptions.
As interpretation becomes more objective, the executive centre of the brain is more available, often accompanied by a sense of poise, appreciation and purposeful engagement with life.
What Becomes Possible When Perception Is Balanced
-
Clear up your past to love your present - transcend the stories that limit your self expression
-
Gain self-mastery of your mind and emotions and dissolve emotional distractions that hold back your vitality - feel an increased self-awareness and new surge of energy and possibility as you awaken the vision of your authentic dreams and purpose

Work Together Over Time
Some individuals choose to continue working together beyond a single session.
Ongoing mentoring packages and structured programs are available for those who wish to apply this work across multiple areas of life.
This continual work allows the structured questioning process to be applied across decisions, priorities and long-term objectives as they arise.
This may include:
• dissolving emotional baggage and the stories that distract from purposeful action
• clarifying values and recognising authentic priorities, purpose and direction and long term vision
• organising daily actions around mission and long-term direction
• planning strategies aligned with what you would love to achieve
